Hollywood's Hottest Reality TV Stars Team Up to Help Raise Autism Awareness

Dean McDermott of Oxygen Channel's Tori and Dean:Home Sweet Hollywood and Grant Reynolds of FOX Reality Channel's Househusbands of Hollywood team up with the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, Inc. (CARD) in raising autism awareness. McDermott and Reynolds, considered two of Hollywood's hottest reality television stars will co-host Ride and Style Family Festival on July 25, 2010 in Woodland Hills. They'll share the stage with CARD Founder and world renowned autism expert Dr. Doreen Granpeesheh and Racecar Driver / Model Ashley van Dyke. The event is presented by Celebrity Stylist Allen Edwards and Title Sponsored by the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, Inc. (CARD), the world's largest autism organization effectively treating children with autism.

Ride and Style Family Festival will feature top of the line exotic cars, custom motorbikes, live entertainment, food, and a cut-a-thon by Celebrity Stylist Allen Edwards and his team of stylists. Proceeds from the event will help provide therapy, social skills groups, biomedical treatments, helmets and more to children with autism whose families can not afford these necessary tools for their child to reach their highest potential.

Entrance fees are: $20 family pack, $10 for adults, $5 for children over ten, and free for children under ten.

Racecar Driver / Model Ashley van Dyke to Co-Host Ride and Style with Hollywood's Hottest Reality Stars

Racecar Driver/Model Ashley van Dyke will join Hollywood's hottest reality stars Dean McDermott of Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, and Grant Reynolds of Hollywood Househusbands and world renowned autism expert Dr. Doreen Granpeesheh on the stage of Ride and Style. The event will take place July 25, 2010 in Woodland Hills.

About Dr. Doreen Granpeesheh:
Dr. Granpeesheh has dedicated thirty years to helping individuals with autism lead healthy, productive lives. Dr. Granpeesheh started her studies in autism as an  undergraduate student at UCLA. While completing her graduate degree there, she worked with Dr. Ivar Lovaas on the worldrenowned outcome study published in 1987 which showed a recovery rate of close to 50% among the study’s research participants. She earned a PhD in Psychology from UCLA in 1990. 
 
Dr. Granpeesheh is licensed by the Medical Board of California, the Texas and Arizona State Boards of Psychologists, and the Dubai Healthcare City. She earned a Certificate of Professional Qualification in Psychology from the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. 

 
She is an active member of many boards whose mission is to advance the treatment of autism. She is on the Scientific Advisory Boards of the US Autism and Asperger's Association, the Autism File Magazine, Autism 360 and the 4‐A Healing Foundation. Dr. Granpeesheh is also on the Board of Directors of the Autism Society of America, a member of the Autism Human Rights and Discrimination Initiative steering committee, on the North Los Angeles County Task Force of the Senate Select Committee on Autism and the Oversight Committee of the Department of Developmental Disabilities for the State of Arizona. She is the founding member and President of ACT Today! (Autism Care and Treatment), a non‐profit organization that helps families access effective treatment. Dr. Granpeesheh founded the Center for Autism & Related Disorders (CARD) in 1990.
